There are two opportunities for comment during action meetings and each has a sign-up sheet.  

1. For comments related to the agenda, you will need to sign up on the blue sheet.  
2. For comments on non-agenda items, you will need to sign up on the yellow sheet.  

Either way, you will also need to include the topic you will be commenting on.  Then, write your name and address on a provided 3x5 card so your residency can be confirmed.  As a reminder, Policy 903 allows only district residents to make a comment at an action meeting.  

During the Public Comment Period, Board President, Ken Keith, will call speakers up to the podium and comments can only be directed towards him.  

1. State your name and township when you begin speaking.  
2. You are allotted 3 minutes and there will be a  screen with a countdown timer while you speak.  
3. At the 20 second mark – the Board President will give you a “time check.” 

 Public comments are at the discretion of the board and usually limited to agenda items. No need to sign up anywhere - just raise your hand when they ask for questions.
