Procedures for Public Comments

Action Meetings

Sign up when you arrive:

There are two opportunities for comment during action meetings and each has a sign-up sheet. Include the topic you will be commenting on.

For comments related to the agenda, sign up on the blue sheet.
For comments on non-agenda items, sign up on the yellow sheet.
Fill out the provided notecard:

Write your name and address on a provided 3×5 card so your residency can be confirmed. As a reminder, Policy 903 allows only district residents to make a comment at an action meeting.

Committee Meetings

Public comments are at the discretion of the board and usually limited to agenda items.

No need to sign up anywhere – just raise your hand when they ask for questions.
